The last few blogs focused on losses and dark emotions. When I quite avoiding them, I realized they were perfect times to put on my game-face. Focus and intensity increase in those times so I will be ready when the game comes to me–and it will!
I admire a winner’s intensity and focus. Even more, I need it! Courage to take risks, face competition and defeat an enemy is cultivated in the heart and soul–most of the time through the dark times.
It’s true of every Bible character. I can’t avoid it. The road to experience and strength is a rough and brutal training ground. But be encouraged. It leads to victory and it is worth every drop of blood, sweat and tears.
